Gord has been more than professional in helping me navigate and understand very difficult memories. I have now filled in many of the blanks and have a much better understanding of myself. HYPNOSIS: THE FACTS

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of mind affecting most people several times a day. When you are driving, engrossed in a good movie, reading a book or quietly listening to music, you are in a natural state of hypnosis.Hypnosis is simply a state of heightened suggestibility during which we are influenced by positive suggestion enabling us to make incredibly positive changes in behavior.
Despite the portrayal in movies and on television, there is nothing odious or mysterious about hypnosis.
Hypnosis has proven to be a valuable tool for self-empowerment and continuous personal growth based solely on the relationship between the conscious and subconscious mind.
The subconscious mind, having no power to reason, accepts positive suggestions from your trained hypnotherapist aimed at helping you achieve your personal goals.

  • WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE? Hypnosis is a pleasant state of mind much like daydreaming. The effects are feelings of calmness, tranquility and profound relaxation.

  • Anyone of average intelligence can easily achieve a state of hypnosis. A person expecting to become unconscious might think she/he was not hypnotized because they retained awareness of their surroundings.

  • Hypnosis is a state of heightened awareness and focus – not a loss of consciousness which ensures your subconscious mind rejects any negative or unacceptable suggestions.
